Over the weekend I thought I would tinker a bit more so I set out for some more mods..

I went ahead and raised the seat in the front (Thanks Jon D!) Since I am short, I only added about a half an inch and did not have to end up replacing the bolts, just added about 6 washers to each side.

I also decided to "clean" up the look of the bike and relocate the saddle bags. I had them draped over the passenger seat and zip tied to the support bars.

I went ahead and reomved the rear seat and the sissy bar pad, cut a few inches of both sides of the saddle bag straps(?) and then laced them back together. I also ran the bottom loop through the saddle bag supports to shore it up a bit more on the bottom.

I didn't put any ties back on it, it seems to hold pretty solid now.

My neighbpr has a HD and gave me the the usual ration of "your bike looks cute" comments.. hes a decent guy though and just pulling my leg.. though he does tell me I need to buy a Harley every time I see him.. Go figure.

Ride Safe!
